Daniel is from Antarringinya - the Utopia region in central Australia. His art work represents body markings, ceremonial business stories and stories for hunting and gathering in their traditional country is Alawarrya. He is a talented artist who paints in the "dot" style of the desert. His art features Kurrajong root, Wild Passionfruit dreaming and he has a distinctive very fine dot work 

Daniel lives in Darwin with his wife Caroline and their five children. Caroline is also a well known artist she is one of the Numina sisters a very talented group of artists and she is also the niece of Gloria and Kathleen Petyarre.
